The 1/8 scale Talos Armor Hunter from the video game series Monster Hunter has been added to the finished gallery.

So today was spent working on the Sinanju and getting it assembled. I made tons of progress and was able to get all of the legs assembled, the skirts and waist area assembled, and most of the chest/torso. Everything is just roughly cleaned up at the moment and will need a good round of sanding and filing before primer and paint. The kit is looking so much better now that it’s starting to take shape. Assembly has still been pretty frustrating, but it seems like its moving along a lot quicker now that I am working on the outer armor and have all of the inner frame complete.

This is a commission project for a client in Greece that has been on my workbench for a bit now. With the Sazabi and Nu Gundam out of the way, I have been able to finally start working on the next projects. I have been bouncing back and forth between the 1/35 Gp03 and this 1/72 Sinanju, both from G-System. This is the first of G-system’s new internal frame models that I have really worked on (I did assemble my 1/60 Kampfer which has the same style new internal frame, however its cast in standard cream resin and was never finished) that is cast in the colored resin.

While I really like the idea of the internal frame, it has been really difficult and frustrating to assemble. I have most of the frame cleaned up and assembled and have started working on adding the Sinanju parts. (The internal frame is the same as most of the other 1/72 kits and you then swap or add parts that are specific to the kit it comes with.

I finally had a chance to take some photos of the 1/72 Sazabi and Nu Gundam together. Enjoy!

This build was inspired by my friend Mike who found this awesome Japanese website where the owner had built up about 6 or 7 of these Zaku heads. Each one was custom made to match the various versions of the Zaku, and all were painted up like a super high end race car. Bright vibrant colors, crazy metallic internals, etc.

So I picked one up and began working on it. The build was super easy and straight forward, nothing major at all. Some parts do need to be glued in place, but otherwise snap fit.

I have finished all of the internals, as well as wired an LED into the mono-eye. Paint is all Mr. Super Metallics, and Mr. Metal Color, while the clear magenta was custom made with Higgins ink and Mr. Color clear base. The final piece with be used in a small workshop/factory dio with another Zaku head.

The 1/72 G-System RX-93 Nu Gundam Evolve 5 has been finished and can be found in the gallery section.

The Nu is all done and finished, except for the missing detail pieces on the funnels. The rest of the kit is finished, assembled, and awaiting those last parts. Thankfully G-System has already shipped them to me, and I should have them by the end of the week. Here is a quick shot of the Nu standing with the Sazabi. The blue stripes on the Funnels are a bit out of order at the moment. I just snapped the funnels together to see how it looked all together, and need to re-arrange them so they aren’t so all over.
