And now for something a bit different….

Recently I’ve been getting into figure kits more and more. They are a nice break from the robot world, and lend themselves to being quick builds. This one I finished over a weekend, probably spent about 12 hours on it.  The purple areas on her dress were painted the base purple color, the sprayed with a mixture of future floor acrylic and purple pearl-ex pearl pigment. This gives it the effect of being a purple silk fabric that shimmers.  The kit was a ton of fun to build, and was really fantastically cast. The kit stands about 10″ tall to the top of her wings.  Paint is a combo of Tamiya Acrylics and Mr. Color laquers.
