1/3 Bome Meg
The largest figure kit I’ve done to date, this 1/3 scale Meg from Burst Angel was sculpted by the famous Bome. The kits stands about 15 inches tall, and is beatifully sculpted and detailed. An overall pain free assembly, the one downside to the kit is the way the jacket is sculpted. The flowing sections are sculpted as 3 seperate pieces, and result in 2 seams at the front of the jacket. (The third tail section has the seam hidden under the back) I choose not to connect and fill the 2 parts before painting due to it making the torso extremely difficult to paint. I instead filled the seams with some white glue after completion until they were mostly filled, then painted over them with a bit of red paint once dry. Assembly and painting took about a month off and on for this one.
