1/7 Vispo Morte
This kit is another fantastic sculpt from the Japanese group Vispo. The Raqel Gothic figure I finished earlier is their newest release. This figure is from Wonderfest 2006 or 2007 and actually has another figure that goes with it. I haven’t been able to find the 1/7 Angel that accompanies her, but she is basically the opposite version. (Good and Evil on pedestals).
The kit itself went together really easy, and the casting was really clean. The base is made from an acrylic disc, and half of a Mr. Super Clear can cover. I then sprayed the entire base with a creamy white (tamiya acrylic flat white and desert yellow with a tiny bit of red) and then used a darker brown color to shade and add basic weathering. Once the paint dried, I gave it a coat of flat clear, and then used my new Mig sci-fi pigments to add weathering and detail to the base. It was then finished off with some moss and bushes made from various Woodland Scenics products.
Overall I am super happy with the kit, and really love the presentation. The base was something new for me, and I feel it turned out really well.
